RESOLUTION NO. 5084
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING TED L. MILLER FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
lVHEREAS, TED L. MILLER has been employed by the City of
5 Vernon since September 16, 1959; and
6 WHEREAS, said TED L. MILLER retired from the service of
7 the City of Vernon on December 12, 1983; and
8 WHEREAS, TED L. MILLER has faitltfilllyserved as an
9 employee for approximately 24 years and has served as a Lieutenant
10 in the Vernon Police Department since November 1, 1974, and his
11 loss is deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend TED L. MILLER for his many
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes TEDL. HILLER continued success in whatever endeavors he
19 may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to MR. TED L. HILLEF, and that thereupon
23 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
