RESOLUTION NO. 5094
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF TWO NCR
3100 BOOKKEEPING MACHINES AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.31 OF THE VERNON CITY
CODE
6 WHEREAS, Bruce V. Malkenhorst, City Administrator/City
7 Clerk, by letter dated April 5, 1984, has recommended to the
8 City Council of the City of Vernon that two NCR 3100 Bookkeeping
9 Machines are surplus to the needs of the City Administrator/City
10 Clerk Department and has recommended that the two machines be
11 disposed of pursuant to Section 2.31 of the Vernon CityCodei and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
13 determined that it is in the best interests of the City of Vernon
14 that said NCR 3100 Bookkeeping Machines be sold as surplus
15 pursuant to Section 2.31 of the Vernon City Code.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
17 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That in accordance with section 37350 of the
19 Government Code of the State of California, the City Council of
20 the City of Vernon hereby finds and determines that the two NCR
21 3100 Bookkeeping Machines are ,surplus to the needs of the City
22 Administrator/City Clerk Department of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Administrator/City Clerk is
24 hereby authorized to obtain bids pursuant to Section 2.31 of the
25 Vernon City Code for the sale of the two NCR 3100 Bookkeeping
26 Machines as surplus property.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of April, 1984.
