RESOLUTION NO. 5113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON REAPPOINTING HILARIO GONZALES AND
WILLIAM JOSEPH DAVIS TO SERVE AS TRUSTEES
ON THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES
6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18910 of the Education
7 Code and Section 2.34 of the Vernon City Code, Trustees serving
8 on the Board of Library Trustees shall be appointed by the Mayor
9 by and with the consent of the City Council; and
10 WHEREAS, the terms of Hilario Gonzales and William
11 Joseph Davis serving on the Board of Library Trustees expire
12 on June 30, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
14 Vernon intend to reappoint Hilario Gonzales and William Joseph
15 Davis fora term of three (3) years.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
17 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That the City council of the City of Verno
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
20 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That Leonis C. Malburg, Mayor of the City
22 of Vernon, hereby reappoints Hilario Gonzales and William Joseph
serve as Trustees effective July 1, 1984 through
June 30, 1987, a full three (3) year term.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves and consents to Mayor Leonis C. }1alburg's
27 reappointment of Hilario Gonzales and William Joseph Davis to
28 Serve as Trustees on the Board of Library Trustees fora term of

1 three (3) years as hereinabove recited.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
3 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
4 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
5 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June, 1984.
