RESOLUTION NO. 5132
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE PAVEMENT STRIPING
1983-84 WORK, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT
NO. 459 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, PACIFIC STRIPING was awarded the contract for
6 Pavement S.triJ.ping 1983-84, pursuant to Contract No. 459
7 of the City of Vernon; and
8 WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services,
9 has reported bo the City Council of the City of Vernon that said
10 work has been completed, under date of August 8, 1984, and
11 recommends that the work be accepted.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the Pavement Striping 1983-84 work,
15 pursuant to Contract No. 459, is hereby approved by the City of
16 Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Eighteen
18 Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Dollars and Eighty-Five Cents
19 ($18,620.85), all of which has been paid to the Contractor and
20 the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City
21 Cle]!'ktofile a'Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
24 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
25 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of August, 1984.
