RESOLUTION NO. 5135
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF DISTRICT AT
ATLANTIC IMPROVEMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 458 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, SULLY-MILLER CONTRACTING COMPANY was awarded
the contract for work of District at Atlantic Improvements,
pursuant to Contract No. 458 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services
has reported.to the City Council of the City of Vernon tlYp.t said
work has been completed, under date of August 20, 1984, and
recommends that the work be accepted and payment be made to the
Contractor in accordance with the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work of District at Atlantic
Improvements, pursuant to Contract No. 458, is hereby approved
by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Eighty
Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars and Twenty Cents
($80,567.20). The final partial payment totaling Seventy-Two
Thousand Five Hundred Ten Dollars and Forty-Eight Cents
($72,510.48) has already been paid to the Contractor and the
remaining ten percent (10%) of the total Contract amount or the
Sum of Eight Thousand Fifty-Six Dollars and Seventy-Two Cents
($8,056.72) is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption
of this Resolution and the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby directs payment of said sum as set forth to SULLY-MILLER
CONTRACTING COMPANY and instructs the City Clerk to file a

Notice of Complet~on with the County Recorder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
3 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
