2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CO~~DSNDING JACK KELLY FOR HIS MANY
3 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

4. vvHEREAS, JACK KELLY has been employed by the City of

5 Vernon since December 1, 1957; and

6 WHEREAS, said JACK KELLY retired from the service of
7 the City of Vernon on October 16, 1984; and

WHEREAS, JACK KELLY has faithfully served as an
91, employee of the Vernon Fire Department for approximately 27 years

10 i and is currently an Administrative Fire Engineer and his loss
11 is deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 ,takes this opportunity to commend JACK KELLY for his many years
16 of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the Citv of Vernon
18 wishes JACK KELLY continued success in whatever endeavors he
19 may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to MR. ,JACK KELLY, and that thereupon
23 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
