RESOLUTION NO. 5151
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING WILLIAM MATHISON FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, WILLIAM MATHISON has been employed by the City
of Vernon since December 1, 1965; and
WHEREAS, said WILLIAM MATHISON retired from the service
of the City of Vernon on October 16, 1984; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM MATHISON has faithfully served as an
employee of the Vernon Fire Department for approximately 19 years
and is currently an Administrative Fire Fighter and his loss
is deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes this opportunity to commend WILLIAM MATHISON for his many
years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to MR. WILLIAM MATHISON, and that there-
upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1984.
