2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING DONALD CURRAN FOR HIS
3 ~iliNY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
4 WHEREAS, DONALD CURRAN has been employed by the City of
5 Vernon since July 16, 1955; and
6 WHEREAS, said DONALD CURRAN retired from the service
7 of the City of Vernon on October 2, 1984; and
8 WHEREAS, DONALD CURRAN has faithfully served as an
9 employee of the Vernon Fire Department for approximately 29 years
10 and is currently an Administrative Fire Engineer and his loss
11 is deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend DONALD CURRAN for his many

u years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes DONALD CURRAN continued success in whatever endeavors he
19 may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution'and present a
22 certified copy thereof to MR. DONALD CURRAN, and that thereupon
23 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
