RESOLUTION NO. 5167
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING GERALD EYSTAD FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, GERALD EYSTAD has been e~ployed by the
6 of Vernon since October 1, 1956; and
7 WHEREAS, said GERALD EYSTAD will
8 service of the City of Vernon on February 28, 1985; and
9 WHEREAS, GERALD EYSTAD has faithfully served as
10 employee of the Vernon Fire Department for approximately
11 years and has been a Fire Caotain since August of
12 loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS;

SECTION 1: That the City
16 takes this opportunity to commend GERALD EYSTAD

17 years of devoted service. to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the
wishes GERALD EYSTAD continued success in whatever endeavors
he make undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to CAPTAIN GERALD EYSTAD, and that there~
upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
