RESOLUTION NO. 5171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CO~mNDING JAMES GEEENLEA FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, JAMES GREENLEA has been employed by
6 of Vernon since February 1, .1970, and
7 WHEREAS, said JAMES GREEN LEA will retire from
8 service of the City of Vernon on March 6, 1985; and
9 WHEREAS, JAMES GREENLEA has faithfully served as
10 employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 15 years
11 and has been an Operator/Dispatcher at the Vernon Pump Plant
12 since July 1, 1984, and his loss will be deeply felt by the. C,ity
13 of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City
17 take s this opportunity to commend JAMES GREENLEA for his :many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
19 SECTION 2: That the City Council of the
20 wishes JAMES GREENLEA continued success in whatever endeavors he
21 may undertake.
22 SECTION 3:
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
24 certified copy thereof to JAMES GREENLEA and that thereupon
25 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
