1 RESOLUTION NO. 5177
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING DAVID PERKINS FOR HIS
3 MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
5 Vernon since June 1, 1957; and
4 WHEREAS, DAVID PERKINS has been employed by
6 NHEREi\S, said DAVID PERKINS will retire from the
7 service of the City of Vernon on April 2, 1985; and
8 WHEREAS, DAVID PERKINS has faithfully served as an
9 employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 28 years and
10 been a Captain in the Vernon Fire Department since November 1,
11 1971, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City
15 takes this opportunity to commend DAVID PERKINS
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the
18 wishes DAVID PERKINS continued success in whatever endeavors he
19 may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and pr~sent a
22 certified copy thereof to DAVID PERKINS and that thereupon and
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
