1 RESOLUTION NO. 5178
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING VINCENT SALERNO FOR HIS
3 MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
4 WHEREAS, VINCENT SALERNO has been employed by
5 of Vernon since August 1, 1956; and
6 WHEREAS, said VINCENT SALERNO will retire from
7 service of the City of Vernon on April 9,1985; and
8 WHEREAS, VINCENT SALERNO has faithfully
9 employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 29
10 is a Utilityrnan I in the Vernon Light and Power Department
11 his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLI,OWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
15 takes this opportunity to commend VINCENT SALERNO for his
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the
18 wishes VINCENT SALERNO continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake.
20 SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a.
22 certified copy thereof to VINCENT SALERNO and that thereupon
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
