RESOLUTION NO. 5189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF VERNON REAPPOINTING LEONIS C. MALBURG AND
THOMAS A. YBARRA TO SERVE AS TRUSTEES ON THE
4 BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES
5 WHEREAS, pursuant toi18910 of the Education Code and
6 Section 2.34 of the Vernon City Code, Trustees serving on the
7 Board of Library Trustees shall be appointed by the Mayor by
8 and with the consent of the City Council~ and
9 WHEREAS, the terms of Leonis C. Malburg and Thomas A.
10 Ybarra serving on the Board of Library Trustees expire on
11 June 30, 1985~ and
12 WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
13 Vernon intend to reappoint Leonis C. Malburg and Thomas A.
14 Ybarra for a term of three (3) years.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
19 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That Leonis C. Malburg, Mayor of the City
21 of Vernon, hereby reappoints Leonis C. Malburg and Thomas A.
22 Ybarra to serve as Trustees effective July 1, 1985 through
23 June 30, 1988, a full three (3) year term.

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
25 hereby approves and consents to Mayor Leonis C. Malburgts
26 reappointment of Leonis C. Malburg and Thomas A. Ybarra to serve
27 as Trustees on the Board of Library Trustees for a term of
28 three (3) years as hereinabove recited.

SECT!ON4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June, 1985.
