RESOLUTION NO. 5250
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF TPAFFIC
PAVEMENT STRIPING 1984-1985, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CONTRACT NO. 465 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, PACIFIC STRIPING was awarded the contract for
the work of Traffic Pavement Striping 1984-1985, pursuant to
Contract No. 465 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services
has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon on
February 3, 1986, that said work has been completed, that all
paYments have been made, and recommended that the work be
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work of Traffic Pavement Striping
1984-1985, pursuant to Contract No. 465 is hereby approved by
the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the total contract amount was Twenty-
Two Thousand Four Hundred Nineteen Dollars and Twenty-Six Cents
($22,419.26), all of which has been paid to the Contractor and
the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City
Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED
this 18th day of February, 1986.
