A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS~ ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ has been employed by the
City of Vernon since March 16~ 1963; and
WHEREAS, said ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ has retired from the
service of the City of Vernon on February Ib, 1986; and
WHEREAS~ ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ has faithfully served as an
employee of the Vernon Fire Department in the capacity of
Firefighter for approximately 23 years ~nd his loss is deeply
felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
9.~QIIQ~_l: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon takes this opportunity to commend ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ for
his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
9.~QI!Q~_6: The City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes ARTHUR N. MIEKOSZ continued success in ~hatever endeavors
he may undertake.
9.~QI!Q~_~: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certi 'f i ed copy thereo-f to ARTHUR N. 11IEKOSZ and that thereupon an
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
