A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING JACK F. HARDY FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, JACK F. HARDY has been employed by the
City of Vernon since March 16, 1956; and
WHEREAS; said JACK F. HARDY has retired from the
service of the City of Vernon on March 16, 1986; and
WHEREAS, JACK F. HARDY has faithfully served as an
employee of the Vernon Fire Department for approximately 30
years and was a Fire Captain since March 2, 1981, and his loss
is deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
igQIIQ~_l: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon takes this opportunity to commend JACK F. HARDY, for
his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
igQIIQ~_6: The City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes JACK F. HARDY continued success in whatever endeavors
he may undertake.
igQI!Q~_~: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to JACK F. HARDY and that thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of March, 1986.
