RESOLUTION NO. 5270
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN
OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT
FOR A CITY MEASURE (Revenue Bond Propositon)
WHEREAS, a special revenue bond election is to be held in
the City of Vernon, on June 17, 1986, at which there will be

submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following

City measure:

REVENUE BOND PROPOSITION: Shall the City
of Vernon authorize the issuance of revenue bonds in
one or more series, in an aggregate principal amount
not to exceed $150,000, 000 for the acquisition,
construction, improvement and financing of the elec-
trical power system of the City and other public
improvements, and the acquisition of land and rights
of way inside or outside the City boundaries, and
including all engineering, inspection and legal fees
bond reserve funds and interest during the construc-
tion period and for a period not to exceed twelve
months after completion of construction, and other
costs and expenses incidental to or connected with
such acquisition, construction, improvement and
financing?
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Vernon DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:

SECTION 1. This City Council, being the legislative body of
27 said City, hereby authorizes

4 to file a written argument for the City measure set forth in the
5 recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division
6 5 of the Elections Code of the State of California and to change
7 said argument until and including the date fixed by the City
8 Clerk after which no arguments for or against said City measure
9 may be submitted to said City Clerk.
10 ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of April, 1986.
