A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON REAPPOINTING WILLIAM M. MCCORMICK
TO SERVE AS A TRUSTEE ON THE BOARD OF LIBRARY
TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18910 of the Education
Code and Section 2.34 of the Vernon City Code, Trustees serving
on the Board of Library Trustees shall be appointed by the Mayor
by and with the consent of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the term of William M. McCormick serving on
the Board of Library Trustees expires on June 30, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
Vernon intend to reappoint William M. McCormick for a term of
three (3) years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
$.!;QIIQ~_6:
That Leonis c. Malburg, Mayor of the City
of Vernon, hereby reappoints William M. McCormick to serve as a
Trustee effective July 1, 1986 through June 30, 1989, a full
three (3) year term.
E~~IIQ~_~: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves and consents to Mayor Leonis c. Malburg"s
reappointment of William M. McCormick to serve as a Trustee on
the Board of Library Trustees for a term of three (3) years as
hereinabove recited.

certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
