A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AF'F'ROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND THE DEPARTMENT
OF WATER AND ~OWER OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES
("LADWpll) RESPECTING THE SOTO STREET BRIDGE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to enter into a License Agreement with the LADWF'for the purpose
of
temporarily

ex i st.i ng
overhead
electrical
distribution facilities on the east and west sides of Soto
Street transven~ing a port! on of the LADWP's Ri ver Swi tchi ng
Station-8andini Junction Transmission Line Right of Way 278 near
Tower H~209 (Soto Street, north of East 37th Street).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
l2~QIIQ~_l: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
l2~QIIQ~_~: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby approves the License Agreement, a copy of
which has been presented to the City Council concurrently with
this
Resolution and the City Council hereby orders said
Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
E~QIIQ~_~: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute
said Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
