A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AN EXTENSION AND
MODIFICATION OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT OF
JUNE 27, 1985
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
6 approved Resolution No. 5194 on June 27, 1985, which approved
7 and authorized the execution of an agreement with AME for
8 paramedic services for the 1985-1986 fiscal year; and
9
WHEREAS, neither party has given 30-days written
10 notice to terminate said agreement; and
11
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
12 approved Resolution No. 5296 on June 24, 1986, which approved
13 and authorized the execution of an agreement with AME for
14 paramedic services for the 1986-1987 fiscal year; and
15
WHEREAS, both parties desire to continue negotiations
16 for the new agreement and desire to continue all of the te~ms
17 and conditions of the existing agreement on a month-to-month
18 basis except for the insurance requirements found in subsection
19 (a) of Section X until a new agreement can be negotiated; and
20
WHEREAS, pending the negotiation of the new agreement
21 the City of Vernon and AME desire to modify the insurance
22
provision
in
the existing agreement
respecting
general
23 I i ab i 1 i ty i n sub sec t i on ( a ) of See t i on X.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
25 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

provision contained in sub-section (a) of Section X of said
existing agreement to reflect that this policy's $ingle limit
