A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ESTABLISHING PERMIT FEES AND SERVICE
CHARGES APPLICABLE TO ALL PERMITS GRANTED BY
THE CITY OF VERNON PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 4A.5,
4A.16 AND 4A.22 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
VERNON, CALIFORNIA

WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Vernon, California
and, in particular, Section 4A.5 thereof, provides for the
issuance of alarm system permits; and
WHEREAS, Sections 4A.5, 4A.16 and 4A.22 of the Code of

the City of Vernon, California provides that the City Council of
the City of Vernon shall establish, by resolution, alarm system
permit fees, renewal permit fees, reinstatement fees, late
chargl'?!:. and sef-vi ce charges fot- the vari OllS types of busi nesses
requiring alarm system permits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
Resolution No. 5005 on June 7,
1983, which established permit
fees and service charges applicable to all permits granted by the
City of Vernon pursuant to Sections 4A.5, 4A.16 and 4A.22; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to revise said fee schedule to conform to its adoption of
Ordinance No. 967.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
~~QI!Q~_~: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby establish that the issuance fees, annual renewal fees,

reinstatement fees,
late charges and service charges for permits
2 granted by the City of Vernon pursuant to Sections 4A.5, 4A.16 and
3 4A.22 of the Code of the City of Vernon, California are as follows:

That in addition to the foregoing,
the
licensee or permittee shall pay all other necessary fees or
deposits which may be required by other ordinances or resolutions
of the City of Vernon or applicable State laws in effect.

That the fees provided for herein shall be
effective November 7, 1986.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
threafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
