RESOLUTION NO. 5340
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF PHASE II TASK ASSIGNMENT IIB
OF THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT ENTERED
INTO ON MAY 6, 1986 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF VERNON AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL
INC. (HRMIH) FOR BEAR BUTTE HYDROELECTRIC
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and RMI entered into a
Consulting Services Agreement on May 6, 1986, which provided for
services being divided into four phases1 and
WHEREAS, RMI has completed Phase I of said Agreement1
11 and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon
13 ~pproved Resolution No. 5328 on September 16, 1986, which
14 approved and authorized Phase II Task Assignment IIA subject to
15 monitoring by the City Administrator1 and
16 WHEREAS, RMI had recommended that a portion of Phase II
17 Task Assignment IIA be authorized at that time in order to
18 perform services at the site prior to the start of the winter
19 season and avoid any delays in the scheduling of the Project1 and
20 WHEREAS, the field work on Task Assignment IIA is
21 almost completed and the Project is believed to be feasible at
22 this timer and
23 WHEREAS, RMI has recommended that Task Assignment lIB
24 be authorized at this time to perform services from November 1,
25 1986 through March 22, 1987, at a cost not to exceed $453,249.00r
26 and
27 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to approve and
28 authorize Task Assignment IIB subject to monitoring by the.City

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby approves Task Assignment IIB of the Consulting
Services Agreement with RMI, at a cost not to exceed
$453,249.00, a copy of which has been presented to the City
Council concurrently with this Resolution and the City Council
hereby orders said Agreement to be received and filed by the
City Clerk.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Verno
hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute said Agreement for, and on
behalf of, the City of Vernon and further authorizes the City
Administrator and the City Attorney to monitor the activities
provided for therein.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pass~ge of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
