A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR
REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AND SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF MEETINGS FOR COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS OF
THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon by
Resolution No. 5331 adopted on September 16, 1986, changed the
location for regular meetings of the City Council and for meet-
ings of committees and commissions of the City of Vernon to the
Lunch Room of the Community Services facility due to the remodel-
ing of the Vernon Civic Center facility: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to change the location for such meetings of the City Council and
for meetings of committees and commissions of the City of Vernon:
and
WHEREAS,
the City Council of the City of Vernon also
wishes to change the time for certain meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The regular meetings of the City Council of
the City of Vernon shall be held in the City Council Chamber at
the City Hall located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in the City of
Vernon, California on the first (1st) Tuesday of each month at
the hour of 5:00 p.m. and the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month
at the hour of 4:45 p.m. If said regular meeting is scheduled
on a recognized holiday, said meeting shall then take place on
the next day thereafter, at the same time and place.

SECTION 2: The regular meetings of the Fire and Police
Commissioners of the City of Vernon shall be held in the City
Council Chamber at the above-described location on the first
(1st) and third (3rd) Tuesdays of each month at the hour of 4:30
p.m. If said regular meeting is scheduled on a recognized
holiday, said meeting shall then take place on the next day
thereafter, at the same time and place.
SECTION 3: The regular meetings of the Board of Library
Trustees of the City of Vernon shall be held in the City Council
Chamber at the above-described location on the first (1st) Tues-
day of each month at the hour of 4:45 p.m. If said regular meet-
ing is scheduled on a recognized holiday, said meeting shall then
take place on the next day thereafter, at the same time and
place.
SECTION 4: That any other regularly scheduled meetings
of committees or commissions shall be held at the above-described
location at the regular time and date presently in effect for
such organizations.
SECTION 5: This resolution shall take effect following
the adjournment of the regular Council meeting 'held on December
16, 1986, and this resolution shall remain in effect until su-
perseded by another resolution of the City Council of the City of
Vernon.
SECTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
