RESOLUTION NO. 5354
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING EXHIBIT "A", SCHEDULE II,
PAGE 13 OF RESOLUTION NO. 5294 WHICH FIXED
THE COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF
SAID CITY AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE
ALLOWANCES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5294 was adopted by the Cit.y
Council of the City of Vernon on June 26, 1986, to be effective
on July 1, 1986: .and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5294 was previously amended
Resolution Nos. 5313 (adopted by the City Council
Vernon on September 2, 1986) and 5337 (adopt.ed by the
ci1 of the City of Vernon on October 28, 1986): and
WHEREAS, Exhibit "A", Schedule II, page 13
No. 5294 provides for the position and salary scale of Environ-
mental Specialist in the City Administrator/City Clerk
Department: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
to establish a new salary scale for the position of Environmental
Specialist in the Cit.y Administrator/City Clerk Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that t.he recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That Exhibit "An,. Schedule II, page l3 of
Resolution 5294, shall be amended to establish the following
salary scale for t.he position of Environmental Specialist:

SECTION 3: That in all other respects, Resolution No.
5294, as. amended by Resolution Nos. 5313 and 5337, shall remain
in full force and effect and the provisions in Reso1uti.on Nos.
5294, 5313 and 5337 not consistent with or in conflict with this
Resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1986.
