RESOLUTION NO. 5368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF CORRECTED PAGES TO CONTRACT NO.
DE-MS65-86WP39587 BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, WESTERN AREA POWER
ADMINISTRATION, BOULDER CANYON PROJECT AND
THE CITY OF VERNON FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
Resolution No. 5355 on January 6, 1987, which approved and
authorized the execution of Contract No. DE-MS65-86WP39587 be-
tween the United States Department of Energy, Western Area Power
Administration ("WAPA"), Boulder Canyon Project and the City of
Vernon for electric service: and
WHEREAS, WAPA has submitted changes to pages 38 and 49,
page 1 of Exhibit A, page 1 of Exhibit B, and page 1 of Exhibit C
Of said Contract which it feels are necessary in all Boulder
Canyon project Electric Service Contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves the changes to pages 38 and 49, page 1 of Exhibit
A, page 1 of Exhibit B, and page 1 of Exhibit C of Contract No.
DE-MS65-86WP39587, a copy of which has been presented to the City
Council concurrently with this resolution during the City Council
meeting held on January 27, 1987, and the City Council hereby or-
ders said changes to the Contract to be received and filed by the
City Clerk.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor to initial each corrected page of the

Contract below the asterisk on all three duplicate originals for,
and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of January, 1987.
