A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF TRAFFIC PAVEMENT
STRIPING 1986, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
472 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, PACIFIC STRIPING was awarded the contract for
472 of the City of Vernon: and

WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community
Services, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon
that said work has been completed, under date of January 21,
1987, and recommends that the work be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work of Traffic Pavement Striping
1986, pursuant to Contract No. 472 is hereby approved by the City
of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That the total contract amount was Twenty-
Six Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars and Sixty-Four Cents

24 Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.

($26,154.64), all of which has been paid to the contractor and
the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City
SECTION 3:
That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
