A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A MODIFIED AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND COMPUTER
MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INCORPORATED (ItCMSI")
PROVIDING FOR INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, CMSI engages in the business of furnishing In-
formation Management Services and is capable of providing com-
puter hardware, software and professionally trained and qualified
personnel to consult, manage and staff data processing activities
of the City of Vernon7 and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and CMSI executed an Agree-
ment for Information Management Services pursuant to Resolution
No. 5295, which was approved by the City Council on June 24,
19867 and
WHEREAS, said ~greement was never made effective by the
City and was not delivered to CMSI because CMSI and other cities
utilizing the services of CMSI had entered into negotiations to
modify certain terms and provisions of the Agreement7 and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon, the other cities, and CMSI
have agreed to modifications of the previous Agreement and have
agreed on said modifications being set forth in a new Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds' and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon

her$by approves the Agreement containing said new modifications,
a copy of which has been presented to the City Council concur-
rently with this resolution and the City Council hereby orders
said Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter t~e same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of February, 1987.
