RESOLUTION NO.5418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING "LOT
LINE ADJUSTMENT" REQUESTED BY GOGIAN
ENTERPRISES, INC. AND BROOKS IWAKIRI
WHEREAS, GOGIAN ENTERPRISES, INC. is the owner of
6303-11-031 and BROOKS IWAKiRt is !;.he owner of
6303-11-Q39. The parcels are adjacent parcels of
8 land described in the attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated
9 herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, GOGIAN ENTERPRISES, INC. and BROOKS IWAKIRI
12 desire to adjust the common boundary between both parcels
13 as described in the attached Exhibit "B" which is incorporated
14 herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length;
15 and

16 WHEREAS, GOGIAN ENTERPRISES, INC. and BROOKS IWAKIRI
17 have applied for a "Lot Line Adjustment: pursuant to S 66412 (d)
18 of the Subdivision Map Act; and
19
WHEREAS, S 66412 (d) of said act provides as follows:

"(d) A Lot Line Adjustment between two or more existing adjacent
parcels, where the land taken from one parcel is added to
22
23
an adjacent parcel, and where a greater number of parcels
than originally existed is not thereby created, provided the
24
Lot Line Adjustment is approved by the local agency, or advisory
25

agency----" and
WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred
27
to Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
28
reported to the City Council under the date of July 30, 1987,

1 recommendiil'9': said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
3 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
5 Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
I
6 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The request fi~ed by GOGIAN ENTERPRISES,
8 INC. and BROOKS IWAKIRI by letter dated July 16, 1987, for
9 a "Lot Line Adjustment" for the properties described in the
10 attached Exhibit "A" with said I!Lot Line Adjustment" being
11 described in the attached Exhibit liB" is hereby approved in
12 accordance with the recommendation of Victor H. Vaits, Director
13 of Community Services.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
