RESOLUTION NO. 5419
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING II LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTI~
REQUESTED BY CHICAGO METALLIC CORPORATION
AND ERNEST E. WARSAW, JOHN CAUFIELD AND
IRVING SCHOENFELD

WHEREAS, CHICAGO METALLIC CORPORATION is the owner
6 of Parcel #3, located at 5501 Downey Road, and ERNEST E. WARSAW,
7 JOHN CAUFIELD and IRVING SCHOENFELD are the owners of Parcel
8 #4, located at 5601 Downey Road, the parcels are adjacent
9 parcels of land described in the attached Exhibit IIAII which
10 is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully
11 set forth at length; and
12 WHEREAS, CHICAGO METALLIC CORPORATION and ERNEST
13 E. WARSAW, JOHN CAUFIELD and IRVING SCHOENFELD desire to
14 adjust the common boundary between both parcels as described
15 in the attached Exhibit IIBII which is incorporated herein
16 by this reference as though fully set forth at length; and
17 WHEREAS, CHICAGO METALLIC CORPORATION and ERNEST
18 E. WARSAW, JOHN CAUFIELD and IRVING SCHOENFELD have applied
19 for a IILot Line Adjustmentll pursuant to Section 66412(d)
20 of the Subdivision Map Act; and
21 WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of said Act provides
22 as follows:

II (d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
existing adjacent parcels, where 1;:he land
taken from one parcel is added to an ' adjacent
parcel, and where a greater number of parcels
than originally existed is not thereby created,
provided the lot line adjustment is approved

3 WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjtlstment II was referred
4 to Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
[) recommended that said "Lot Line Adjustementll be approved.
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE liT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
7 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
9 Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
10 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the application filed by CHICAGO
12 METALLIC CORPORATION and ERNEST E. WARSAW, JOHN CAUFIELD
13 and IRVING SCHOENFELD by letter dated July 19, 1987, for
14 a IILot Line Adjustmentll for the properties described in the
15 attached Exhibit IIAII with said IILot Line Adjustmentll being
16 described in the attached Exhibit IIBII is hereby approved
17 in accordance with the recommendation of Victor H. Vaits,
18 Director of Community Services.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
20 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
21 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
22 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 1987.
