RESOLUTION NO. 5421
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY HAROLD C. RAMSER, SR., AND PHILIP
SCOTT RAMSER, JR.
5 WHEREAS, HAROLD C. RAMSER, SR. AND PHILIP SCOTT
6 RAMSER, JR., ar,e the owners of Parcels #1 and #3, located
7 at 5899 Downey Road, the parcels are adjacent parcels of
8 land described in the attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated
9 herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, HAROLD C. RAMSER, SR., AND PHILIP SCOTT
12 RAMSER, JR. desire to adjust the common boundary between
13 both parcels as described in the attached Exhibit "B" which
14 is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully
15 set forth at length; and
16 WHEREAS, HAROLD C. RAMSER, SR., AND PHILIP SCOTT
17 RAMSER, JR. have applied for a "Lot Line Adjustment" pursuant
18 to Section 66412(d) of the subdivision Map Act; and
19 WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of said act provides
20 as follows:

"(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
22 existing adjacent parcels, where the land
23 taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent
24 parcel, and where, a greater number of parcels
25 than originally existed is not thereby created,
26 provided the lot line adjustment is approved
27 by the local agency, or advisory agency...."

1 WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred
2 to Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
3 recommended that said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.
4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
5 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
7 Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
8 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the Application filed by HAROLD
10 C. RAMSER SR., AND PHILIP SCOTT RAMSER JR., dated August 13, 1987,
11 for a "Lot Line Adjustment I~ for the properties described
12 in the attached Exh;ibit "A" with said "Lot Line Adjustment"
13 being described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved
14 in accordance with the recommendation of Victor H. Vaits,
15 Director of Community Services.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
17 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
18 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
19 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1987
