RESOLUTION NO. 5430
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF. VERNON APPROVI:NG "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY FRY STEEL COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, Fry Steel Company, Inc. is the owner of two
.
adjacent parcels of land described in the attached Exhibit "A"
which is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully
set forth at length; and
WHEREAS, Fry Steel Company, Inc. desires to adjust
the common boundary between both parcels whereby said adjustment
will create two new properties as described in the attached
Exhibit "B" which is incorporated herein by this reference as
though fully set forth at length; and
WHEREAS, Fry Steel Company, Inc. has applied for a
"Lot Line Adjustment" pursuant to Section 66412 (d) of the
Subdivision Map Act; and
WHEREAS, Section 66412 (d) of said act provides as
follows :-
"(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
existing adjacent parcels, where the land
taken from one parcel.is added to an adjacent
parcel, and where a gr~ater number of parcels
than originally existed is not thereby created,
provided the lot line adjustment is approved
by the local agency, or advisory agency...."
and
WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustme'nt" was referred
to Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
recommended that said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
above are true and correct.
g.'EeTtON 2: That the reques'b for a "Lot Line Adjustment"
filed by Fry Steel Company, Inc. dated April 20, 1987, to adjust
the common boundary from the properties being described in the
attached Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment will create two
new properties as described in the attached Exhibit "B" is
hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of
Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 3rd day.of November, 1987.
