RESOLUTIOH HO. 5447
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING LEONARD GONZALEZ FOR HIS
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, LEONARD GONZALEZ has been employed by the City
5 of Vernon since November 10, 1952r and
6 WHEREAS, said LEONARD GONZALEZ will retire from the
7 service of the City of Vernon on January 28, 1988r and
8
WHEREAS, LEONARD GONZALEZ is a foreman in the Community
9 Services Department, has faithfully served the City of Vernon for
10 approximately 35 years, and his loss will be deeply felt by the
11 City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend LEONARD GONZALEZ for his years
16 of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes LEONARD GONZALEZ continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to LEONARD GONZALEZ and that thereupon and
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
24 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 1987.
