RESOLUTION NO. 5462
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF, THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WOR.K OF PACIFIC STRIPING
COMPANY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 480 OF
THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, PACIFIC STRIPING COMPANY was awarded the
contract for work on Traffic Pavement Striping 1987, pursuant
to Contract No. 480 of the city of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community
Services, has reported to the City Council of the City of
Vernon on December 7, 1988, that said work has been c.ompleted
and recommends that the work be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work of PACIFIC STRIPING,
pursuant to Contract NO. 480 is hereby apPJ:'oved by the City
of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is
Twenty-three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars
Thirteen Cents ($23,488.13) all of which has been paid"and
the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs
the City Clerk to file a notice of completion with the County
Recorder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of
Vernon shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same' shall be in full foroe
and effect.
