A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING EXHIBIT "A", SCHEDULE II,
PAGE 7 OF RESOLUTION NO. 5405, WHICH FIXED
THE COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF
SAID CITY AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE
ALLOWANCES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5405 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1987, which fixed the
positions and compensation of city employees effective July 1,
1987: and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5405 was previously amended by
Resolution Nos. 5425 (adopted on September 8, 1987): 5436
(adopted on October 20, 1987 ): 5439 {adopted on November 3,
1987 >: 5444 (adopted on November 17, 1987): 5480 (adopted on
February 16, 1988) : 5490 and 5497 {adopted on March 15, 1988>:
5502 (adopted on AprilS, 1988): and 5506 (adopted on April 26,
1988): and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to establish the position of Field Operations Manager
Light and Power Department effective June 6, 1988.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby amends Exhibit "A", Schedule II, page 7 of Resolution No.
5405 to create the position of Field Operations Manager in the
Light and Power Department effective June 6,l988, with the

salary scale for said position as indicated on the. corrected Page
7 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II, which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
SECTION 3: That in all other respects, Resolution No.
5405, as amended by Resolution Nos. 5425, 5436, 5439, 5444, 5480,
5490, 5497, 5502 and 5506 shall remain in full force and effect,
and the provisions contained in said resolutions not consistent
with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
