A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL
SERVICES BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON
AND EDWARD A. COONEY, DBA EAC ASSOCIATES,
PROVIDING FOR MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
7 Resolution No. 5411 on July 21, 1987, which approved and
8 authorized the execution of an agreement for contractual services
9 by and between the City of Vernon and Edward A. Cooney, DBA EAC
10 Associates (EAC) for the period of August 1, 1987 to June 30,
11 1988r and
,
12 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to enter into a con-
13 tractual services agreement with EAC to provide requisite
14 municipal management services from July 1, 1988 to June 30, 1989.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
19 hereinabove are true and correct.
20
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
21 hereby approves the Agreement for Contractual Services, a copy of
22 which has been presented to the City Council concurrently with
23 this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said Agree-
24 ment to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
25 SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
26 hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
27 Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thcareupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
