A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING JOE STOUT FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, JOE STOUT has been employed by the City of
Vernon since June 1, 1959r and
WHEREAS, said JOE STOUT will retire from the service of
the City, of Vernon on August 7, 19881 and
WHEREAS, JOE, STOUT iea Fire Engineer in the Vernon
Fire Department a.nd has faithfully served the city of Vernon for
approximately 29 years, a.nd his loss will be deeply feltl>Y the
City of Vernon.
NOW, 'rHEREFORE, BElT RESOLVE013Y T:HECITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VE.RNON AS FOLLOWSc
SECTION.l: That the city Council of the City of Vernoll
takes this opportunity to commend JOE STOUT for his many ye.ars of
devoted servioe to t.he City of. Vernon.
SECTION 2: The Ci ty Council of the City of Vernon
wishes JOE STOUT oont.inued $uccessill whatever endeavors he may
undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
shall cert.ify t.o the passage of t.his resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to JOE STOUT and that thereupon and t.here-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
