1 RESOLUTION NO. 5562
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING RICHARD DIMMITT FOR HIS
3 MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
4 WHEREAS, RICHARD DIMMITT has been employed by the
5 City of Vernon since June 1, 1959 ; and
6 WHEREAS, said RICHARD DIMMITT retired from the sen-
7 ice of the City of Vernon on October 1, 1988; and
8 WHEREAS, RICHARD DIMMITT is an Engineer in t~e Vernon
9 Fire Department and has faithfully .served the City of Vernon
10 for approximately 29 years, and his loss will be deeply felt
11 by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ~: That the City Council 9f the City of ver-
15 non takes this opportunity to commend RICHARD DIMMITT for his
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION . 2 :
The City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes RICHARD DIMMITT continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake..

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Ver-
21 non shall certify to the passage of this_resolution and

present a certified copy thereof to RICHARD DIMMITT and that
thereupon and .thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
