RESOLUTION NO. 5590
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF SAFETY
STRIPING SERVICE, INC. IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 490 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE, INC., was awarded
the contract for work on Traffic Pavement Striping - 1988,
pursuant to Contract No. 490 of the City of Vernon; and
.
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Serv-
ices, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon on
January 31, 1989, that said work has been completed and recom-
mends that the work be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work of SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE,
INC, pursuant to Contract No. 490 is hereby approved by the
City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is
Twenty Three Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Three Dollars
Ninety-four Cents ($23,323.94) all of which has been paid and
the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the
City Clerk to file a notice of completion with the County Re-
corder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect,
