RESOLUTION NO. 5596
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COuNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING JERALD S. NESS FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, JERALD S.. NESS has been employed by the city
Vernon since November 18, 1968; and

WHEREAS, said JERALD S. NESS will retire from the serv-
ice of the City of Vernon on March 14, 1989; and
WHEREAS, JERALD S. NESS is an Engineering Aide I in" the
Community Services Department and has faithfully served the City
of Ver.Ilon for approximately 20 years, and his loss will be
deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the city of Vernon
takes this opportunity to commend JERALD S. NESS for. his many
years of devoted service to the city of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The city council of the City of V(arnon
wishes JEMLD S. NESS continued success in whatever endeavors he
may undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to JERALO S. NESS and that thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1989.
