A RESOLUTION OF THE'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON EXPRESSING ITS REGRET AT THE UNTIMELY
PASSING OF VILMA VAITS, MOTHER OF VICT,OR H.
VAITS, THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY SERVICES OF
THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, victor H. Vaits, has been an employee of the
City of Vernon since November 1, 1960 and has served as the
Director of Community services since September 1, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vait's deep regard for his mother
was well-known to his friends and colleagues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
struck with a sense of regret by the untimely passing of Vilma
Vaits, mother of victor H. Vaits, on January 30,1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes to take this opportun,ity to convey its sincerest .con-
dolences to Victor H. vaits on the untimely passing of ,his
mother, Vilma vaits.
SECTION 2: The city Council of the City of Vernon of-
22 fers its sympathy to victor H.Vaits for his great loss.

SECTION ,3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Victor
H. Vaits.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of VernOn shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and
