RESOLUTION NO. 5646
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, APPROVING
APPLICATIONS FOR STATE-LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FUNDS
5 WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Sections 2600
6 to 2602 established a state-funded State-Local Transportation
7 Demonstration Program effective January 1, 1989, with a dead-
8 line of June 30, 1989, to file applications; and
9 WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services on
10 June 29, 1989, completed and submitted applications for resur-
11 facing Washington Boulevard and part of 26th Street in the
12 City of Vernon; and
13 WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation
14 requires that the City Council adopt a resolution approving
15 the applications.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
17 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
18 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
20 hereinabove are true and correct.
21 SECTION 2: The applications as presented concur-
22 rently herewith by the Director of Community Services are in
23 conformance with the City's capital improvement program.

1 SECTION 3: The applications submitted by the Direc-
2 tor of Community Services for State-Local Transportation
3 Demonstration Program Funds are approved.
