RESOLUTION NO. 5667
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON RATIFYING AND DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT
SURVEY AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon by
Resolution No. 5623 adopted on June 6, 1989 designated the
entire City of Vernon as a redevelopment survey area pursuant
to Section 33310 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law (Health & Safety Code, Sections 33000, et seq.); and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to ratify and
designate said survey area in order to further -confirm that
the area has required study to determine if a redevelopment
project or projects within said area are feasible; and
WHEREAS, all required conditions precedent to the
designation of a survey area by the City Council have been
met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2:
The City Council hereby ratifies and
finds that the entire City of Vernon has required study to
determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said
area are feasible.

SECTION 3: The City Council hereby ratifies and
designates the entire City of Vernon as a survey area.
SECTION 4: The boundaries of said survey area are as
shown on Exhibit A, which boundaries are more specifically
given on the official map of the City of Vernon on file in
the office of the Director of Community Services of the City
of Vernon.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this reaolutionand thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
