RESOLUTION NO. 5668
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR
THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon
has submitted a Conflict of Interest Code to this City
Council of the City of Vernon pursuant to Sections 87300, et
seq., of the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 87303
requires the Agency to submit the Conflict of Interest Code
to the City Council for approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Conflict of
Interest Code submitted by the Agency meets the criteria of
California Government Code Section 87302.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true
and correct.
SECTION 2:
The Conflict of Interest Code submitted
by the Agency is hereby approved.
SECTION 3:
Said Conflict of Interest Code is deemed
adopted by the Agency pursuant to Section 87303 of the
California Government Code.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
