A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUN~IL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING "LOTI LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY CATELLUS DEVELOP~ENT CORPORATION

WHEREAS, Santa Fe Pacific RealIty Corporation is the
record owner of two adjacent parcels of I 1 and described in the
i
attached Exhibit "A" which is incorpora~ed herein by this
i
reference as though fully set forth at Ilength; and
i
i
WHEREAS, Catellus Developmentl Corporation, successor

i
in interest to Santa Fe Pacific Realty porporation, desires to
I
adjust the common boundary between bothl parcels whereby said
,
,
adjustment will create two new propertirs as described in the
attached Exhibit "B" which is incorpora~ed herein by this
reference as though fully set forth at Ilength; and
WHEREAS, Catellus Developmentl Corporation has ap-

plied for a "Lot Line Adjustment" pursu~nt to Section 66412(d)
I
I
of the Subdivision Map Act; and
WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of ~aid Act provides an
i
exemption from the subdivision and parc~l map requirements as
follows:

"(d) A lot line adjustment b~tween two or more
I
I
existing adjacent parcells, where the land
taken from one parcel iF added to an adjacent
i
parcel, and where a grerter number of parcels

created, provided the lpt line adjustment is

WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred to
2 Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
3 recommended that said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.
4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
5 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
7 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
8 hereinabove are true and correct.
9 SECTION 2: The request for a "Lot Line Adjustment"
10 filed by Catellus Development Corporation dated September 5,
11 1989, to adjust the common boundary from the properties being
12 described in the attached Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment
13 will create two new properties as described in the attached
14 Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in accordance with the recom-
15 mendation of Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services.
16 SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
17 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
18 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of September,
1990.
