A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON COMMENDING ENRIQUE ROMERO
FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF VERNON

WHEREAS, ENRIQUE ROMERO has been employed by the city
of Vernon since January 2, 1957; and
7
WHEREAS, said ENRIQUE ROMERO will retire from the
8
service of the City of Vernon on March 14, 1990; and
9
WHEREAS, ENRIQUE ROMERO is a Uti1ityman I in the
10 Community Services Department and has faithfully served the city
11 of Vernon for approximately 33 years, and his loss will be
12
deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the city of Vernon
16 takes this opportunity to commend ENRIQUE ROMERO for his years
17 of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the city of Vernon
wishes ENRIQUE ROMERO continued success in whatever endeavors he
20
21

may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the city of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to ENRIQUE ROMERO and that thereupon and
24

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1990.
