A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AMENDING EXHIBIT "A",
SCHEDULE II, PAGE 9 OF RESOLUTION NO.
5641, WHICH FIXED THE COMPENSATION FOR
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND
AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5641 was adopted by the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon on June 27, 1989, to be effective
8 on July 1, 1989; and
9 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5641 was previously amended by
10 Resolution Nos. 5661 (adopted on August 22, 1989), 5682 (adopted
11 on October 17, 1989), 5727 (adopted on March 6, 1990) and 5735
12 (adopted on March 20, 1990); and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
14 to establish the position of Associate Resource Planner in the
15 Light and Power Department with the appropriate salary scale;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
17 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
20 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That page 9 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II, of
22 Resolution No. 5641, is hereby amended to establish the position
23 of Associate Resource Planner in the Light and Power Department
24 wi th the appropriate salary scales as indicated on the amended
25 page 9 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II, which is attached hereto as
26 Attachment "A" and made a part hereof.

SECTION 3:
That in all other respects Resolution No.
28 5641, as amended by Resolution Nos. 5661, 5682, 5727 and 5735

shall remain in full force and effect and the provisions in

Resolution Nos. 5641, 5661, 5682, 5727 and 5735 not consistent
with or in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: The city Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of April, 1990.
