A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR
CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY OF VERNON AND EDWARD A. COONEY, DBA
EAC ASSOCIATES, PROVIDING FOR MUNICIPAL
MANAGEMENT SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City Council of the ci ty of Vernon has
adopted previous resolutions which approved and authorized the

execution of an agreement for contractual services with Edward
A. Cooney, dba EAC Associates (EAC); and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and Edward A. Cooney, dba
EAC entered into an Agreement for Contractual Services on July
1, 1989, for a period of one year commencing July 1, 1989 and
13
terminating on June 30, 1990; and
14
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to enter into a
15
contractual service agreement with EAC to provide the requisite
16
municipal management services from July 1, 1990 to June 30,
17
1991.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
22
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
24
hereby approves the Agreement for Contractual Services, a copy
25
of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently
26
27
with this resolution and the City Council hereby orders said
Agreement to be received and filed by the city Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
Agreement for, and on behalf of, the city of Vernon.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the city of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
6
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
