A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AMENDING EXHIBIT "A",
SCHEDULE II, PAGES 9 AND 10 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 5641, WHICH FIXED THE COMPENSATION FOR
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND
AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5641 was adopted by the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon on June 27, 1989, to be effective
8 on July 1, 1989; and
9 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5641 was previously amended by
10 Resolution Nos. 5661 (adopted on August 22, 1989), 5682 (adopted
lIon October 17, 1989), 5727 (adopted on March 6, 1990), 5735
12 (adopted on March 20, 1990), 5740 (adopted on April 10, 1990)
13 and 5741 (adopted on April 24, 1990); and
14 WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Vernon wishes
15 to increase the salary range for Energy Conservation Specialist
16 in the Light and Power Department.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
18 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
20 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
21 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2:
That pages 9 and 10 of Exhibit "A",
23 Schedule II, of Resolution No. 5641, are hereby amended to
24 increase the salary range for Energy Conservation Specialist in
25 the Light and Power Department as indicated on the amended pages
26 9 and 10 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II, which are attached hereto
27 as Attachment "A" and made a part hereof.

SECTION 3: That in all other respects Resolution No.

5641, as amended by Resolution Nos. 5661, 5682, 5727,
5735,
5740 and 5741 shall remain in full force and effect and the

provisions in Resolution Nos. 5641, 5661, 5682, 5727, 5735, 5740
and 5741 not consistent with or in conflict with this Resolution
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 1990.
