Resolution No. 5776 " RESOLUTION NO. 5776 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AUTHORIZING ACCESS TO SALES AND USE TAX RECORDS PURSUANT TO REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION 7056 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5775 adopted by the City Council on June 19, 1990, approved and authorized the execution of an Agreement for Sales Tax Audit and Information Services with Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates providing for a sales tax management program; and WHEREAS, Revenue and Taxation Code Section 7056 pertains to the disclosure or retention of information in l2 returns and the examination of records respecting sales and use l3 taxes 1 and l4 WHEREAS, in accordance with Revenue and Taxation Code 15 Section 7056, a person designated by resolution of the 16 legislative body is able to examine all of the sales and use tax 17 records of the board pertaining to sales and use taxes collected l8 for the City by the board subject to certain conditions. 19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 20 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: 2l SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon 22 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained 23 hereinabove are true and correct. 24 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon 25 hereby designates the following City officials as being 26 authorized to receive and review sales and use tax allocation 27 information from the State Board of Equalization: 28 City Administratorlcity Clerk: Bruce V. Malkenhorst ... Edward Cooney Sharon Duckworth Leonis C. Malburg Thomas A.
