A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT NO. (1) TO
THE AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND PAMELA
M. MADDOX

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5765 was approved by the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon on June 5, 1990, approving and
8 authorizing the execution of an Agreement For Contractual
9 Services from June 1, 1990 through August 31, 1990, by and
10 between the City of Vernon and Pamela M. Maddox; and
11 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and Pamela M. Maddox desire
12 to amend Section 2 of said Agreement to provide for a change in
13 compensation.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
17 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
18 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City council of the City of Vernon
20 hereby approves the Amendment No. (1) to the Agreement for
21 Contractual Services, a copy of which has been presented to the
22 City Council concurrently with this resolution and the City
23 Council hereby orders said Amendment No. (1) to be received and
24 filed by the City Clerk.

SECTION 3: The city council of the city of Vernon
26 hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
27 Amendment No. (1) for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

AMENDMENT NO. (1)
TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES
BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF VERNON AND PAMELA M. MADDOX
The City of Vernon ("city") and Pamela M. Maddox
(" Contractor") hereby amend the Agreement for Contractual
Services dated June 6, 1990, to revise section 2 to read as
follows:

2. COMPENSATION
CITY shall pay CONTRACTOR as consideration for work
satisfactorily performed pursuant to this agreement at the
hourly rate of TWENTY-ONE DOLLARS AND TWENTY-ONE CENTS ($21.21)
per hour payable every two weeks after submission of written
invoice submitted by CONTRACTOR and approved by the City
Administrator or his designee. CONTRACTOR shall not work or be
paid for an excess of ten (10) hours per week.
This Amendment shall be effective beginning July 1,
1990, and shall terminate when the Agreement For Contractual
Services terminates.
All other terms and conditions of the Agreement For
Contractual Services remain unchanged.
